WaypointThe student platform for Montessori schools
montessorimakerswaypoint.com

Their work. Their plan. Their record.

Montessori adolescent programs run on real work: self-directed study, occupations, micro-economy businesses, seminars, community responsibility. Most of them manage that work in tools built on assignment and submission. The teacher assigns, the student complies, the teacher grades. Compliance architecture for a pedagogy built on ownership. Waypoint inverts it: the student builds the plan, keeps the record, and assesses the work. The guide observes, confers, and countersigns. A waypoint is a reference point a traveler sets for themselves along a route. That is what this tool holds.

What the student owns

Built in plane order

Privacy as design

A separate platform from the adult system, with separate school-provisioned accounts and no personal email required. Built for FERPA and COPPA compliance through school agreements. No ads, no social feed, no peer-to-peer messaging, no data sold. Records sync to MMAP so school records live where school records live; what a student marks private never leaves their journal. A work tool, not a surveillance tool.

The design partner offer

We are building Waypoint with a founding cohort of three to five adolescent programs. Partners get founding pricing locked permanently, direct input on the build, and, with permission, their program named as a founding school.
